𝗦𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗽, a/k/a Medicine Sheep, 1903-04. She was married to Chief Medicine Crow, a famed warrior who died in 1920. She was the sister of Hoop on the Forehead, famously photographed by Edward Curtis, and White Man Runs Him, one of six Crow scouts assigned in 1876 to George Custer during his brief visit to Montana. She was grandmother to Joe Medicine Crow, a Crow historian who died in 2016. The many elk teeth on Sacred Medicine Sheep's dress signified her husband’s hunting prowess.
