๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ ๐ผ๐๐ป๐๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป ๐ฆ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฝ, a/k/a Medicine Sheep, 1903-04. She was married to Chief Medicine Crow, a famed warrior who died in 1920. She was the sister of Hoop on the Forehead, famously photographed by Edward Curtis, and White Man Runs Him, one of six Crow scouts assigned in 1876 to George Custer during his brief visit to Montana. She was grandmother to Joe Medicine Crow, a Crow historian who died in 2016. The many elk teeth on Sacred Medicine Sheep's dress signified her husbandโs hunting prowess.
