"The Bear and the Red Moon"

Moroq roared, shaking the mountains

In the heart of the ancient forest, where trees whispered secrets older than time, lived a great bear named Moroq, guardian of the land. Moroq was no ordinary bear—he was said to have been born during a blood moon, when the sky turned red and the stars hid in silence.

The elders believed the Red Moon was a time when spirits walked freely, and only Moroq had the strength to face them.
One year, a terrible winter struck.

The rivers froze, the sun vanished behind thick clouds, and strange shadows crept across the snow. The animals grew restless, and the humans feared the old forest spirits had awakened once again.

Then, on the longest night, the Red Moon returned.

Moroq rose from his den, guided by the crimson light. Without fear, he ventured deep into the shadowed woods where no creature dared go. There, he faced the ancient spirit of Hunger—a wolf made of smoke and bone, whose breath withered trees and froze lakes.

Moroq roared, shaking the mountains. He fought the spirit beneath the blood-red sky until dawn broke. When the first rays of sun touched the earth, the spirit vanished, and warmth slowly returned.

Since that day, whenever the Red Moon rises, the people say:
"The bear walks again to guard the world from darkness."
