The Bison’s sacred walk teaches the people

They say the Bison was born from the heart of the Earth,
Its strength carved from the soil,
A spirit that moves in harmony with the land.

Why was the Bison chosen to walk the plains,
And what wisdom does it carry in its massive frame?
The Bison moves not with haste,
But with purpose and quiet strength.

Its hooves strike the earth with a deep rhythm,
As if it is reminding the people that true power lies not in speed,
But in steady perseverance, in walking the land with patience.
The people watched the Bison,
Wondering why it does not race with the winds,
But moves with the slow, sure steps of the Earth.

“Why does the Bison walk so calmly?” they asked.
The Bison did not answer in words,

But simply continued its journey,
Each step a sacred prayer to the Earth,
And in its silence, the answer became clear—
True strength comes from understanding the rhythm of the land,
From walking with purpose, and trusting the way beneath your feet.

One young warrior, lost in his own struggles,
Looked to the Bison for guidance,
Asking, “How can I find my way when the world moves so fast?”
The Bison did not speak,
But stood firm, its presence a lesson in endurance.

And the warrior understood—
True strength lies not in rushing,
But in standing steady, in trusting that the path will be revealed,
Step by step, in its own time.

The Bison’s sacred walk teaches the people
That power is not in the rush,
But in the patience to walk with purpose,
In the endurance to stand firm, and the wisdom to listen to the land.
