Since ancient times, when the world had no color and everything existed in dull gray tones, the gods argued endlessly about who should bring joy to the world. Each god was stubborn, causing the world to sink deeper and deeper into dullness.
Meanwhile, in the land where dreams and reality intersected, Misawa — the Spirit Cat of Colors appeared. No one knew where Misawa came from. People only knew that every step it took spread magical patterns. When it wagged its tail, flowers bloomed everywhere. When it caressed the sky, rainbows appeared. And when it cried softly, the whole universe lit up like an eternal festival.
Seeing this, the gods were surprised. They asked Misawa:
"How can you bring color when even we are powerless?"
"Color does not come from power, but from the heart that knows how to dream, love, and cherish every moment."
The gods understood and gave Misawa a sacred mission:
To become the Guardian of the World's Colors.
From then on, whenever someone smiled happily, when flowers bloomed in spring, or when children painted their dreams, the natives believed that Misawa was passing by — with gentle footsteps bringing vibrant colors into the hearts of humanity.
On full moon nights, the elders often sat around the fire, telling their children:
"When the world becomes dark, close your eyes and call Misawa's name. The Lynx will return, dancing in the sky and repainting dreams with eternal colors."
And until now, that story is still passed down — engraved in every flower season, every ray of sunlight, and in the very brilliant colors that each soul preserves.
