"The Flame of the Smallest Wings"

Don’t underestimate your light. Even tiny wings can carry the sun.

In the sacred garden between worlds, where light and shadow dance in harmony, there lived a hummingbird named Asha, meaning “hope” in the old tongue.
Unlike the great eagles who soared high or the owls who saw through darkness, Asha was small—barely the size of a blossom. But in her chest beat the fiercest heart, and her wings shimmered with the fire of sunrise.
She was chosen not for size, but for spirit.
Each morning, Asha flew from flower to flower, whispering courage into the petals. Her presence turned silence into song, and sorrow into bloom. The elders believed the sun followed her—not the other way around.
One day, when the world grew dim with despair, the people looked to the skies. And there she was—flashing like embers in the wind, weaving through red roses and golden light. With each beat of her wings, she reminded them:
“Even the smallest among us carries the power to ignite joy, to spark healing, and to keep the light alive.”
To this day, whenever a hummingbird hovers near, it is said to be Asha visiting again—bearing a simple message:
Don’t underestimate your light. Even tiny wings can carry the sun.
