"The Girl and the Bear Spirit"

When grief is too deep for words, Bear will hold you until you remember how to stand

They say that when sadness grows too heavy for the heart,
the Bear comes.
Not with roar,
not with rage,
but with silence.

In the cold forest of her sorrow, the young woman wandered —
lost, tired, forgotten by the stars.
She cried without sound,
until sleep came.

And when it did, so did he.

The Bear wrapped her gently in his great arms.
No words.
No promises.
Only presence.

Through the night, they stayed together.
Her heartbeat slowed,
her dreams softened.

By dawn, her tears were gone.
When she awoke, she found no bear —
only the warmth left behind,
and the courage to begin again.

The elders say:
“When grief is too deep for words,
Bear will hold you until you remember how to stand.”
