“The Heart That Runs Beside Us”

Even in silence, the horse speaks —

hey say the Horse did not come from the ground —
he came from the thunder.

He ran with the wind before he ever carried a rider.
And when he let the people climb on his back,
he gave them not just speed, but freedom.

To many tribes, the horse was not an animal — he was a relative.
A partner in hunt, in journey, in war, and in spirit.

Painted with symbols, blessed with feathers,
he carried dreams between worlds.

The elders say:
“A warrior without a horse walks.
A warrior with a horse flies.”

Even in silence, the horse speaks —
in the way his hooves drum the Earth,
in the way his breath rises like smoke under the moon.
He does not ask for praise.
Only trust.

Because when you ride with a true heart,
he does not carry your body.
He carries your soul.
